I have been a head teacher for many years in specialist schools before joining New Reflexions at Longridge and have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience along my own learning journey. 

I am responsible for the day to day running of the school, liaising with parents, carers, other professionals and the manager of our residential provision regarding new referrals and ongoing support of our students. I also welcome new students to the school and teach and support in class.

I believe that personal and social development and growth is equally as important for our learners as educational progress and I aim to inspire and support our dedicated teaching team to deliver a creative, fun, challenging and meaningful curriculum that promotes holistic success for our students.

I have worked in education for nearly 20 years across a range of settings. I have a strong belief that every child has the right to learn and thrive and this drives my passion for working in Special Educational Needs. In my free time, I like to walk my three crazy dogs.
