Our school approach to curriculum is to focus on preparing our young people for the best they can be and that means focussing on progress from their starting points and achieving success, whatever that means for each young person. We aim to offer a broad curriculum that considers the development of the whole person, soft skills are valued as highly as academic skills and practical skills, it’s all about nurturing each child’s interests and finding new ways to engage and motivate them.

Functioning in a social world is a complex job and we also hope to develop our student’s understanding in areas such as British Values, particularly in developing respect and tolerance. Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural awareness is also key to enabling our young people to be successful, happy adults.
